I have to read books from like the 1940s to figure out how they sailed a miz and stacel.

Like there is literally no literature about this, you know, particularly racing it,

unless you go back to like some pre-World War II books about how they would use them.

I'm just back in the office i've been away

for a week skiing in engelberg switzerland in the alps freaking spectacular um it's only the second

time i've been skiing uh in the alps and i loved every minute of it we got really lucky they got like

two feet of snow the day before we arrived and then we had sunny bluebird skies every day. It was great,

super great. So great in fact that I'm like, okay, I needed more of this in my life. And I also,

you know, we did a ski and sail trip on East Bjorn last year that was a big success,

except for the fact that East Bjorn is not the best platform for that. So I am toying with the idea of

selfishly organizing another ski and sail trip in northern Norway, but on a different boat.

A friend of ours has a perfectly suitable boat for that. And I'm curious to see if anybody's

interested. It would be sometime in April, which is when the season is,

it's above the Arctic Circle. So sometime in April in northern Norway out of Tromso, there's six

spots available on this boat potentially, one of which I would take and maybe a few of my friends

would take. But if anybody's interested in this, I'm not, it's not going to be on the website or

anything. It's just here. If you're interested, if you hear this, if you want to do a ski and sail trip, this is like off, you know, backcountry, you're skinning, hiking up, skiing down. If you want to do that with me, potentially, let me know. I'm trying to generate some interest and see if it's a thing that people want to do and we'll see if we can put it together.

But I'm always say that after I go skiing. I'm always like, God damn, I got to do more of this. So anyway, there you have it. If you want to go skiing and sailing with me in Northern Norway next year, this is in 2026. Send me an email and let me know your interest. Okay, otherwise, if you want to sail with 59 North, it was actually really a bad time for me to be away last week because we had three boats at sea at the same time.
