for Book Club. This is my favorite thing that we do on the podcast. Okay? So every six weeks,

picture this. We have a new book and we have a new book club co-host. It's so fun. We did Ina Garden with Harrison Wallace. We just did a romance book with Macy. That's her first book that she's probably ever read. We, what else have you done? We've done a lot. We did Mel Robbins book with Lauren Elizabeth. It's just a really fun thing to do every six weeks. You get our book club pick,

you read along with us. And then there is an episode at the end of those six weeks, which is today

recapping the book, going into the themes. Even if you don't read the book, there's still good

episodes because we really just dive deeper into the themes and different ideas that this book brings up.

Like, for example, today, we are reading Time of Your Life by Jessica Hastings. Now, Jesse is one of my dear friends. I am obsessed with her. I love her. It's one of those things on this podcast. There's like a couple things that I say that we actually should put together a drinking game, but it would be very dangerous. It would be Susie Walsh values quiz in the past year. It would be any mention of Jessica Hastings in her books. And then tell you that she's a dear friend of mine and that I read them all early. And then what else would it be? Oh, hobbies mean the cure for all. Like there are definitely some common themes here on this podcast. And like she is a common theme at this point. She's also our most frequented guests. And I said this before,

but she really changed the directory of this podcast because back when I met Jesse, 2020,

maybe early 2021, I was going through my quarter life crisis. We just got really close. I was reading

Magnolia Parks because she sent it to me. We just became very close friends. We had a very

similar, like, background, lots of mutual friends. She is who I went to for a lot of advice, and she really just changed my life. And then she came on the podcast to just do like a little 20s advice episode way before she'd even like, she was always an author, of course. You know, she's a writer. It's like in her veins.

Okay. It flows through her body, if you will. But it was before the books had released. And she was coming on the podcast. And we were doing a lot of like 20s advice episodes, whatever. Everyone loved those so much that we like kind of geared the podcast, lean more into like navigating your 20s, which has become such a huge theme of this podcast.

So she's really a staple to this show. And if you guys are huge Jessa Hastings fans, like,

boy, do I have some backlog episodes for you. We actually will do an entire playlist on the

YouTube channel. You guys should be watching this, by the way, because we are in my house in Nashville.

And it's looking quite stunning. I just want to say, big shout out to Ms. Shannon Ford because she is letting me borrow her producer. So I actually had producer Courtney here. I feel like I'm in the presence of a celebrity. And that is why it looks so amazing. And it's looking way better than if I were to have done it. And also, guys, we cannot do the sterile studios. Like, they're just not for me. They're not. Not the J-Media Studios. Of course, I love those. That's, you know, I'm not talking about that. But just in general, anyway, all that to say. Today we are going to be recapping Time of Your Life. Oh, this is upside down. Time of Your Live by Jessica Hastings with Jesse. It is such an incredible read. This is actually part one of the book.
