It all started one summer day in 2015. I was sitting around the pool with a couple of my best

friends sipping on a few cool ones while our kiddos splashed around us.

After finishing a round of refreshing American Light Loggers, it was my turn to grab some refills, and I returned with bottles of tasty

craft beer from Firestone Walker. This, predictably, led to jokes about my hoidy toidy preferences

and a hilarious review session that ultimately sparked an idea.

I ran home to prep for a neighborhood barbecue and in the meantime threw together a simple

jingle to make my friends laugh. They laughed, we talked, and what started as a silly joke turned into an actual plan. Today,

Jersey and Tim have reviewed beers in 42 episodes. They've basically been with us since the

beginning and are a part of the

Brulosophy podcast crew. So much so that they accompanied the rest of us to

Homebru Khan 2018 in Portland, Oregon, where they did a couple rounds of live beer reviews.

Now, my initial plan was to use these reviews

like I do the normal ones, one per show.

But having received numerous requests

for a Jersey and Tim's special,

I figured this was an ideal time for that. I love these guys. for a

I love these guys and judging by the turnout during their live sessions at homebrew Khan

a lot not all I understand of heart listeners have grown to love them as well.

Unfortunately, Jersey's in Norway right now,

but we're very lucky to have Tim joining us today.
