If you hear a banging noise downstairs which sounds a little bit like two paving slabs knocking together. Genuinely it's my tortoises having sex. What? Yeah because

it's too cold for them to be outside the last few days has been a bit cold so

we brought them in but the problem is

is the male just won't leave the female alone and so there's a bit of shell clunking but it's just

basically it's aggressive sex going on at the bottom of the stairs.

Will this lead to baby tortoises?

We've got an egg in the incubator right now.

No.

Yeah.

I feel a bit bad though because he won't leave her alone he's been a proper

predatory sex pest so we've had to split them up a few times. Yeah I don't that puts a

dampener on today's podcast.

Food for thought.

I just thought I'd let you know because I've got earphones on so I won't hear the clonking,

but if you hear the clogging that's more than lightly,

it's tortoise intercourse. What I love about tortoises is they're like a car which has been really aerodynamics

designed and very strong but fundamentally too slow for any of it to matter.
