I'm joined by Jake Burns.

Jake, how you doing,

man? Good, Andrew, man. It's Friday. We're almost to Christmas. Can't complain, buddy. We're

happy and healthy over here and fortunate to be talking about some good college football coming

this weekend and some meaningful NFL, not the Browns, but some other meaningful NFL stuff that's going to happen here as well. Yeah, absolutely. It's a meaningful weekend in football. And like you said, not for our team, but for everybody else, a lot of other teams, including an Ohio team. So a big game, obviously, for the Buckeyes on Saturday night. Jake, before we get into this, I just want to share one of my favorite moments of any Christmas movie is I'm a big fan of the movie Christmas Vacation, right?

And there's a moment in that that I think about this time every year.

It's not a Christmas moment.

It's like pre-Christmas.

There's that moment where he's in his office and it's like the last work day of the year for him before he goes on his extended Christmas break. And he says kind of to the guy, you know, his other co-worker guy character, he's like, yep, it's the last day of the year for me, wrapping things up here. And that's very much of the energy that I have today. It's like, you know, I mean, even though obviously the pod doesn't stop, the Brown's coverage doesn't stop.

We're going to cover this game against the Bengals on Sunday and have a post game show and do all the stuff we do. But it is still very much that feeling of, well, yeah, here we go. You know, it's the last day where the normal schedule applies. And then all of a sudden it's like two weeks of what day is it exactly today? It feels like it's a Thursday, but I think it might be Monday. So I'm really looking forward to it. Mine's very different from a movie perspective. Anytime this happened, this has always been a running joke for us. The movie Superbad came out right at the end of high school for me. It's always been the funniest

comedy of that era because we all related to it so well, constant quote. But anyway, Seth and Evan are in like shop class and he walks in and he asks Evan what he's working on and he's just drilling holes in a board. He's like, last two weeks, just drilling holes. No one cares. It's like when you get to Christmas and the end of the year, it's just like, yeah, man, just wasting time here,

staring at the screen, doing nothing. Yeah, there's a specific feeling, right, that accompanies the end of like the calendar year where you know Christmas is around the corner. It's the same thing in the spring, you know, when, when school's about to let out or like right before Memorial Day, if you're an office person, right, there's that feeling of now it's about to be the summer,

schedules are different, nobody's, you know, people are around less often, maybe Fridays

are kind of very chill, that sort of thing. So yeah, overall, it's a good feeling and I enjoy

celebrating my last day of the year every year because it feels really good.
