Summary

Jermaine Johnson became the newest Tennessee Titans defender on Thursday when he was acquired in a trade that sent T'Vondre Sweat to the New York Jets. Johnson is a physical freak from a stature standpoint and combines that with elite football character. The combination makes Johnson a perfect fit with the Titans and Robert Saleh. That doesn't mean that Johnson is set to be the Titans 'alpha rusher' that they still desperately need. Johnson is not an elite rusher and there is still concern about his recovery from an Achilles injury, but Johnson can add to a pass rush stable that needs to be juiced up before the season begins.
