It's less than a week until there's supposed to be yet another vote in Parliament on the Theresa May Brexit withdrawal agreement.

And after a flurry of meaningless talks in Brussels, the Prime Minister is offered some more meaningless behaviour in Ireland with their

Tao Viradka. That's coming up later on today but don't hold your breath. The real story today

is the self-destruction of the Labour Party. Ponty-Preet MP Owen Smith has broken ranks and

declared that he's thinking of leaving the esteemed organisation,

and we are reliably informed here at the Independent Republic that he's not the only one with such traitorous thoughts about the Labour Party.

Meanwhile, a group called another Europe is possible is plotting to deselect around 30 Corbyn supporting MPs and others

who voted against the Yvette Cooper Amendment last week

if they vote in support of any deal proposed by Theresa May. In essence, the Labour Party

is tearing itself apart. It's eating itself and there are plenty who believe it might not actually

survive the whole Brexit scenario. 0344-49-1,000. If you're a Labour voter, I'd love to hear from you because I've been talking to a lot of Labour voters this week.

Many of whom are saying they're never going to vote Labor again because Labor is supporting Theresa May and the Brexit deal that they voted against.

On the other hand, of course, there are many Labour constituencies, particularly in the north of England, who voted to leave the European Union.

We know that Jeremy Corbyn is essentially a lever, but he pretends that he's a remainder.
