Hey everyone, this is Mary Demuth and this is Pray Every Day where I have the joy and privilege of praying you through the Bible verse by verse.

We're in the Old Testament book of Jeremiah right now, which I am loving. It's hard, but it's good. It's so good. It's so much full of wisdom and it's a giant cautionary tale, so I'm grateful for that.

I've been reading some encouragement that you've been sending my way, so I'm going to start this episode with words from Ann. I would not tell you what God wants you to do about your work as a mission, especially about whether to continue to post the Pray Every Day podcast, but I will tell you my opinion. I listen to your PA, Pray Every Day Podcasts and find it a good start to my day. I would hate not to have it as a go-to

each morning. However, if you need to cut back on any activity, I would suggest the weekly Bible

study, and that's only because I can't get it due to another engagement at the same time. I have

on occasion tuned in and found it beneficial. She's talking about actually the once a month

Bible study that I do for patrons. So if you're a $1 or more patron, you can watch me do that. I'm actually going to continue to do that where I lead a Bible study once a month. Okay, she continues. I've noticed the numbers. You have many listeners to the Pray Every Day podcast and a few who attend the Bible study. That should be an indicator of where your ministry is most valuable. Great insight. These are only my thoughts and they are personal. So I pray God gives you clear guidance.

I have noticed of late that your voice on the podcast sounds tired. However, I know you have problems

sleeping. May God guide you in his right path. Anne. And thank you so much. I really appreciate

and I take all of these things very seriously, and I did actually weigh what you said. So thank you.

It has not much for me to do the once a month time for my patrons where I lead a Bible study

for that one half hour once a month. I believe it's the third Thursday of the month. So that's

been fine and I am happy to continue to do that. Hopefully my voice sounds more peppy today and I did

sleep better last night. Today I'm reading from Jeremiah 7 verses 18 through 34 in the World English

Bible and this is what it says. The children gather wood and the fathers kindle the

fire and the women need the dough to make the cakes to the queen of the sky and to pour out drink

offerings to other gods that they may provoke me to anger. Do they provoke me to anger, says Yahweh.

Don't they provoke themselves to the confusion of their own faces? Therefore, the Lord Yahweh says,

Behold, my anger and my wrath will be poured out on this place, on man, on animal,

on the trees of the field, and on the fruit of the ground, and it will burn and will not be

quenched. Yahweh of armies, the God of Israel, says, add your burnt offerings to your sacrifices

...
