I know you're busy preparing for a big feast.

So thank you for taking the time to listen to this show.

As I've been doing, I'm reading from folks who are also listeners, and this is what Becky says.

And again, I don't consider myself any sort of scholar or anything like that, but it is a joy to read it.

And as other people have mentioned, I am also reading some hard passages. and so that can be good, because sometimes we skip

over those hard passages.

And today I'm reading from Jeremiah chapter 21, the whole chapter, and this is what it says.

The word which came to Jeremiah from Yahweh when King Zedekiahus sent to him Pashar, the son of Malkajah,

and Zephaniah, the son of Masea, the priest, saying, please inquire of Yahweh for us, for Nebuchadnezzar,

King of Babylon makes war against us. Perhaps Yahweh will deal with us according to all his

wondrous works, that he may withdraw from us. Perhaps Yahweh will deal with us according to all his wondrous works, that he may withdraw from us.

Then Jeremiah said to them, tell Zedekiah, Yahweh the God of Israel says, behold, I will turn back the

weapons of war that are in your hands with which you fight against the king of Babylon and against

the Chaldeans who besiege you
