Hi there, this is Mary Demuth and this is Pray Every Day where I have the joy and the privilege of praying you through scripture verse by verse.

Some of you ask why I use the world English Bible. It's a free translation and so that's why I use it.

But it's also really helpful to me to read things in a way that I haven't read them before.

So it's been really nice to kind of highlight the scripture for me.

As per usual, this month, I'm going to share some comments from one of my listeners.

God's word will strengthen you as well as us who listen.

A lie oftentimes comes wrapped in the truth. That hit very hard and was absolutely

accurate. Thank you for saying that today. Please pray for me as I am alone now. I need a prayer

group of strong believers in my very unchurched area to lift me now. I ask for God to pour his

Holy Spirit down upon my home, complex, and self every day. Please agree with me as I need that. I am a sinner

and lately have backslidden and I don't want to anymore. Please pray for the nation and the believers

here. We are ruled now by the lie wrapped in the truth, such obvious darkness that they choose not to

see. Please pray that we receive and live the victory. Thank you again for standing up and taking the responsibility

God has given you as in Esther 414, Doug. Doug, thank you so much. I'm going to pray for you right now.

Lord, I do pray for Doug, and I thank you for his desire to be surrounded by other believers. And I pray

that you would open doors literally in his apartment complex of people who love you and want to

pray.

I pray that you would shower him with grace as he feels like he's backslidden.

He just needs your grace right now.
