Welcome to the politics guys, a place for bipartisan, rational, and civil debate on American politics and policy.

I'm Michael Bernowski, a political scientist at Northern Kentucky University. With me today is my regular co-host, Cleveland area attorney and Republican fact totem Jay Carson.

0:14.1

All right. Hey, Meg. Jay, so, you know, we went on so long for our Saturday show that it was all about elections. I kind of thought that

0:22.7

might happen. And we didn't have the opportunity to talk about, I think, two pretty important

0:28.1

1:29.0

order conservative.

1:30.7

I like them.

1:31.6

Yeah, he was, I mean, he was particularly a very enthusiastic supporter of Donald Trump's strong

1:38.8

stance against undocumented immigrants.

1:41.5

And that's one of the few policies where Donald Trump seems to actually

1:44.2

really care and have, you know, it's not just a convenience, but something he really believes. And

1:49.2

Jeff Sessions was right there along with it, right? So now with Sessions gone, oversight of the
