Today's 10-minute walk is helping both of us remain fitness consistent. Hi, I'm Dave. Let's go for a walk.

And as I begin today's walk, I'm crossing the street, headed for the path through the woods that's

near where I live. Love walking back here. It's not a long path. It's not like

when I'm walking through here. I feel like I'm in the middle of nowhere surrounded by trees.

In fact, I'm at one end. You can hear the truck that just passed by on the road I crossed.

I'm eager to share my transformation story. At the end of last

year, I weighed 342 pounds and was approaching my 59th birthday. I made a commitment to become an

active and healthy 60-year-old. On January 4th, 2024, I joined Weight Watchers and initiated a daily walking routine, progressively increasing the distance that I was walking every week.

Although challenging, I learned to push through the difficulties.

Utilizing the Weight Watchers app, I meticulously tracked my diet, leading to steady

weight loss. Now on day 308, and it's a little bit more than that, as you're hearing this,

now on day 308 of monitoring my weight and walking, I cover four to five miles every day,

waking up at 3.30 in the morning to get out and walk by 4 a.m.

I've even planned a week-long backpacking trip this spring to celebrate my 60th birthday
