Well, early on the way I approached it was the way Charlie Parker would do April in Paris and he would go off. The song was written but he'd go off and so that's how I when I wrote material every night I did it differently. I just however I approached it fresh.

And then I moved from that into literally only having an outline and approaching it like jazz.
