We've seen more parity this year in college football

than any time in my recent memory at least.

And many people have tried to figure out why.

Is it the transfer portal, NIL, conference realignment

or some combination of all of it.

And one of those may be correct.

But when it comes to why we're seeing some quote-unquote

lower-level teams have some big success,

like ULM, Vandy, Army, Indiana, Navy, and some others, I do have a theory.

I think these teams are more together and they actually play harder for longer because those guys aren't making the big bucks like we see at some of the top levels of college football.

That isn't to say that they aren't making any money or there's no an aisle there but compared to the

college football elite and plutocrats they are truly playing the game for the love

of it mostly and for one another if you really watch closely you can actually see the difference.
