Glad that you could join us.

As many of you know, last week we did a critique of Apology at Church, Jeff Durbin, which you see there on the screen,

who was doing a sermon this last Sunday, not yesterday, but the week before that,

defending the doctrines of grace, even refers to them as stulip, adding the S before the tulip,

referring to God's sovereignty, meaning God's determinism of all things, obviously from the Calvinistic vantage point.

And those of you who tuned in learned that Jeff Derbren did actually jump on in the comment section.

I accused me of being dishonest and that I wasn't rightly representing him.

I've invited him on the program.

If he'd like to come on to defend himself, I'd be glad to have him on.

I'd give him equal amount of time. I will come on his program. If he would rather that

happened for fairness, I'm fine with that too.

Was not my intention to offend him. I'm trying to play him for himself.

He seemed to suggest that maybe I wasn't looking at the whole of the video.

Now, of course, his video here, the sermon's over an hour long,

and so obviously we're not going to have time to go through every single portion of it.

But I did want to go a little bit further through the broadcast

and the sermon where he really begins to go through anticipated objections to Tulip, to Calvinism,

because I think he brings up some really important points

that I think would be a good highlight for us

to be able to look at the differences between the Calvinistic vantage point

versus what we hold to as provisionists.
