You know, when I was looking for you yesterday to see if you'd come on in the lounge, I asked Malachi,

I was like, hey, you know where Jalen is? Like, have you seen him? And he was like, Jalen? Who's Jalen? And then he was like, oh, Hawk, Hawk. Are you exclusively Hawk on this team or what? I mean, that's kind of like some, everybody kind of calls me as Hawk or Jay Hawk.

my government, you know, that's my mom and my wife calling me that most of the time. But I go by either three. Yeah. Well, I can't think of a better name for a safety than Hawk. I mean, Ball Hawk. I mean, come on. it doesn't get any better than that.

I mean,

Now, I mean, ball hawk. I mean, come on. It doesn't get any better than that. It goes. I got aligned that perfectly.

I mean, it's crazy. Nice. So just how are you enjoying your start here in Baltimore so far? And enjoying it well, man. It's cool, man. Getting accustomed to the city, the team, the guys. It's been a good time, man. It's been a real good time. moving out there working, you know, doing OTAs.

There's a time really to connect.

So putting emphasis on that, you know, hanging out with guys and stuff like that. Nice. Now, when you hit Free Agency, how did this deal come together here with Baltimore? Were they on your radar from the start or just take us through that? I actually didn't expect. So, like, it was Monday.

Like, that was, like, Monday when everything, you know.

I was in conversation with the Patriots.

Monday came.

I believe the Cowboys and the Texans reached out.
