Thanks for having me. Jay's also the author of Anatomy of Runners, which we're getting into and

really finding some really really good information from. Jay tell us a little bit about you and where

you are and what you do and how you got doing it. Oh sure, yeah so my name is Jay DeSherry and

I'm a physical therapist and I've been sort of operating in the blurry world between patient care

and biomedical, biomechanical analysis and sports injury research for the past about

seven or eight years now. I originally kind of guided this at University of Virginia and

tried to look at say, there's a bunch of interesting technical equipment out there,

all the little things you see on TV when they put back some other people and they have a run and

jump and the dots on the screen that all gives us nice interesting information and so my goal

is then to figure out just because you can measure things with fancy equipment doesn't really make

a difference as it actually matter to performance and trying to figure out what things correlate with

performance and what they correlate with injury and just be in my mission to try and get that message

out to help folks kind of spread the message on you know it's a better way to look at things and

let's just all look at we as a community can learn and how this impacts us all as individuals.
