Jason is the co-founder and CEO of Human Co. And one of the co-founders of Hugh Kitchen, which, as you know, is forever and always my go-to brand. Jason is the person you want to learn from, especially if you're looking to start your own brand or in the process of getting a brand off the ground, or you want to hear more about investing in the industry and where we are headed next. We've known Jason for a few years now. He's who he actually met with when we first invested

in Hugh a few years ago, and I always love catching up with him. In this episode, you'll hear

driven private holding company that invests in and builds brands focused on healthier living and

Well, hi, guys. Thanks for having me. I've kind of lived two lives for the last 24 years.

I started my career in finance straight out of college. And in my first couple of years of

working, I was doing the kind of New York City work hard, play hard thing as a young

aspiring overachiever.

And in my second and third year of work, which was 99, 2000, 2001 time frame, I got really sick.
