Jason freed Jason is the founder of I had a chance to sit down with Jason Freed.

Jason is the founder of 37 Signals.

37 Signals was actually renamed to be called Bascamp,

which is their main product.

He's been doing this for a long time and has been an icon in the

tech world. It's certainly someone that I've looked up to for so many years. I

guess he got started in 2000 with this company. So he's been with the same company in creating some of the best project management software there is.

And so he's created a bunch of different products, Base Camp being one of them, Camp Fire, high-rise, and the conversation that we have today is not about

creating products, it's really about setting a culture and taking care of your

employees both emotionally and physically.

We get into creating a company culture that rewards people for working less,

and he reimagined a whole slew of different perks and benefits that he gives his employees to make sure they're productive and happy and creative.

You'll see why so many people consider him an icon.

He's such a really nice guy and really thinks differently

about this stuff.
