Welcome to the journal April 2016 edition. This is going to be a fun

podcast. This is going to be a geeky podcast, but it's going to be a fun one. I am a big fan of

paper notebooks. I've been big fan of paper notebooks. I've been a fan of paper

notebooks for a very long time. I'm sure a lot of you out there have had notebooks in

the past, whether it's a moll skin or a field notes. You see these things at stationary stores, you see them in bookstores or in, you know, airports in kind of those stores that sell books and magazines.

For me, this is a place where you record kind of your ideas,

your dreams, your thoughts, and you sketch down stuff.

I've kind of been on this little kick lately where I have a different notebook

for either like if it's going to be a web idea or a physical product. I want to build a new office

chair, not an office chair, but more of a lounge chair.

And so I've been sketching out just chairs in a notebook.

I have no idea what I'm doing.

I'm kind of learning slowly, bought a couple of books on the whole process as well.

But that's my chair notebook, and I want this to last.

And so I was curious in putting this together, you know, I've always bought Moleskins, but there's other brands out there.

Are any of them better than Moleskin? Is Moleskin not a good brand? I had no idea.

And so the thought was, if they're more or less all the same then screw it we just won't do a podcast about it

But if there are differences and there's a reason why you should be buying one brand over another

Then let's put together a podcast and find a

really good domain expert and interview that person and have them tell you all about notebooks

what to look for and where to find these great notebooks. So I did just
