This is the White Sox Talk podcast.

Today, I'm turning over the podcast to Jason Benetti and Bill Walton, who famously called

that White Sox game together last season,

and they were back together for the show we did on NBC Sport Chicago,

called B-Chicago, Together We Can,

which raised money for the United Way's COVID Response Fund in the Chicago land area.

Bill is a Hall of Fame basketball player who has crammed a whole lot of life in his 67 years.

And while he's known for his uniqueness and irreverence, there's a lot of truth and wisdom in his words that we can all use right about now.

So I wanted to turn this into a podcast and share with you. Bill's had a lot of tough times and setbacks in his life. And here he talks about what it takes to, in his words, get out of the

muck. And at the very least, he's going to give you a lot of humor and inspiration as you go

about your day. You also notice that Bill refers to Jason,

not as Jason, but as Maui Jim Beach Boy,

because they did the Maui Invitational together,

and Maui Gym was the sponsor, and it stuck.

So there you go.
