After game one, I had said, you looked at Doug Fister's numbers as a starter at Friendly Park this year

and nine starts. It was like a four, six, seven ERA.

So I thought David probably should have started that game all along, but then you mention

the fact that the season was on the line being down 02, and I was like, you know,

Price has to start that game.

Even if he gives you four innings, you hope for four scoreless innings, and then hopefully

the Red Sox offense could get you some runs,

and that would have been the situation exactly.

But Doug Fister gets you down in a 3-0 hole, but, you know, you had guys like Joe Kelly.

I mean, you couldn't go to price right off the bat.

You know, a guy like Joe Kelly goes an inning in two-thirds scoreless.

Price gives you closest, I think you threw like 57 pitches.

So you were hoping for around 60 pitches.

That's exactly what it gave you.

So, yeah, a lot of credit goes to price.

But in terms of how farrell managed the game, I think that, you know,

price should have been on the mound to start.
