And, of course, with the giant season completely imploding yesterday on the field with losing three wide receivers. And everything else that's going on in the NFL now with JJ Walt, look like he's going to be out the rest of the years well

All right, you know, one thing I wanted to ask you about Boomer because last week one of the big stories was what happened with Cam Newton

and the female reporter from the Charlotte Observer.

And it's funny because when we were talking about that story, someone had mentioned about what happened with the Bengals. And I know that when you were with the Bengals, at one point, there was a female reporter that the team had barred from being in the locker room. What was going on there? What was the reasoning behind that at the time? Well, the team did not bar any female reporter. That was a coach. Sam Weish decided to do that, and that was a direct response to the Zeke-ke Moat, Lisa Olson situation in the New England Patriot locker room the week before. And it was a Monday night game. We were playing out in Seattle and we had just lost the game. We were three and all going into the game. We lost the game. And after the game, I'm in the shower. I got all those rug burns on my elbows and everything else because of that horrendous kingdom turf.

I mean, I'm miserable. I got beat up that night. I probably got hit about 30 times in the game.

And Sam comes to me and says, hey, man, I need you to go outside. And I said, what do you mean go outside? I'm in the shower. He goes, no, I mean, go get dressed.

Don't talk to any reporters at your locker.

I need you to go outside.

I'm keeping women out of the locker room.

I said, Sam, they fought this already.

What are you doing? Don't talk to any reporters at your locker. I need you to go outside. I'm keeping women out of the locker room.

Why are we doing this?

And Sam was the master of distraction.

So if the team played bad, you know, there was always something that was going to be distracting from the media and all that other stuff.

He never really wanted the media to focus in on what the hell the team was doing. So I get dressed. I go outside the locker room. There's one woman standing there. She's a string writer for USA Today, if I can remember correctly. And she basically asked me three questions. I said, look, I'll stand here as long as you want me. I haven't given anybody anything. saying, you know, she's on a deadline. It's late at night. And, I mean, she was ticked off.

And, I mean, she was ticked off. I could tell she was ticked off. I believe her name was

Denise Tom. And she asked me my three questions. I gave her three answers and she took off.
