who is going to help us with a new report he and a colleague have filed about Taiwan and the defense of Taiwan

and resilience against the threats from the mainland.

However, Scott for many years was our Japan whisperer, and so I puzzle if the return of Scott

Scott, there's hozzas going on in Tokyo right now.

But the detail that I do not see in trade negotiations

is the question of defending Taiwan.

As I recall, the previous prime minister made a very, very large statement that if Taiwan has attacked, Japan will

lend a hand and come to its defense. There's a new prime minister and there's a new relationship

with the legislative, I believe, because of mixed results in an election. Now we have a trade deal,
