I have to start this podcast out

with some excellent news.

If you haven't heard already,

Clarks World magazine has been nominated for a 2009 Hugo Award.

I wish you could see me doing the Snoopy dance over here because I'm really doing one. I was really

excited to find out that we were sharing some wonderful news with some of the best

online magazines and print magazines out there.

So you know what that means.

If you're not a member of this year's Worldcon,

you don't have to go to Australia, you can be a supporting member and

still retain the right to vote. And probably up until the Worldcon you're

going to hear me encouraging you to vote. So you might as well get it done early this year. That way you can just

fast forward when I say and it's time to remind you to vote for the Hugo's, please. Anyway, onto our second fiction for the month of

April 2010. Our story this time around is entitled January, written by Becca de la Rosa.

Becca lives in Dublin, Ireland, where she's been studying ancient Greek at university.

Her stories have been published in Strange Horizons,

Fantasy magazine, The Best of Lady Churchill's Rosebud Rislet,

Sybels Garage, and the recent anthology Phantom, edited by Sean Wallace and Paul Tremblay, among other places.
