Kate Baker. Greetings Clark's World Citizens. I can't express how insanely awesome it's been for Clark's

World over the past month.

For those of you who were following the award circuit,

the Locust Awards nominations came out.

And we're on the list for Best magazine,

right up there with Tour.com, Asimov's, Analog, and FNSF.

It's a pretty good company if you ask me. Couple this with our Hugo nomination and well, I'm beginning to think that

Clarks World had a pretty damn good year last year, but again I'm biased.

So thank you for joining us for our first podcast of the May 2010 month.

Our first podcast comes from the ever awesome Tobias S. Pekel.

For those of you who aren't familiar with Tobias, Tobias S. Pekel is a Caribbean-born speculative

fiction writer who grew up in Granada, the British Virgin Islands, and the US Virgin Islands.

The short story, Placa del Fuego, was published in Clarkswood last year in July.

Tobias has one of those blogs that you have to add to your RSS feeders.

It's got some great writerly advice and he's also pretty funny to boot. So I dare you to check it out.
