Jen's cutting the cake from Hot Greg, we're trying our darnedness to get just a little tired and emotional if we can, because we've worked a long week, and so have you, maybe.

So if you're out there, and you're listening to us, well, enjoy the next hour of radio, here's the plan.

First, it's a weekend review, this is where we catch up on some stories that we may have missed, or not had a chance to talk about during the week.

And then at 9.30, it's music for your weekend, you will still get to here, three, probably new songs, new to you anyway.

Tonight, except they won't be selected by us, they'll be selected by listener April and Colorado, who sent us her selections that she thinks, Jen, does she think that they reflect our personalities or our musical taste?

Our musical taste, after listening to us do music for your weekend now for, I don't know, it's been two or three months, she thinks she can do it as well as we can.

And if she's successful, then we'll probably turn it over to her, so I'm always looking for ways to delegate as much of the responsibility of this show as I can, so this might just be another way.

We'll see what happens at 9.30.

So anyway, week in review, starting with pirate news, Somali pirates have released the Saudi oil tanker, the Sirius star, and it's 25 member crew, and the 2 million barrels of oil on board, that they've been holding as hostage since November 15th.

These Somali pirates, we've talked about it with Jeff Gettelman from The New York Times here on this show, and you've heard a lot about it, it's been a really, really big news year, I guess the end of 2008 beginning of 2009.

It's been a good time to be in the pirate PR business.

I do feel like $3 million seems to be the magic number, it seems like that's what they'll go for, they always start with $20 million.

But then they just, it seems like $3 million is the key.

Well, that's exactly what they got this time, $3 million was dropped to the hijackers by parachute.
