Summary

The Mary Trump Podcast for January 6th, 2026

Part I:

Five years ago, Donald Trump incited a violent attack on the U.S. Capitol to overturn an election he lost. He spread lies, endangered lawmakers, harmed officers, and escaped conviction. Now he’s trying to rewrite history.

Part II:

Is the Manosphere ABANDONING Trump?

Donald courted the manosphere to win young male voters. Now, according to the New York Times, Trump’s allies helped free accused sex criminals Andrew and Tristan Tate. This is part of a larger MAGA pattern of embracing misogynists and sex offenders.

Welcome to the Mary Trump podcast. Let's dive it.

0:10.1

Today, of course, is January 6th. Five years ago today, Donald incited an insurrection

0:16.7

against his own government, encouraging a mob to attack the U.S. Capitol,

0:22.6

endangering the lives of every single person in that building.

0:26.6

His actions led to chaos, violence, and the deaths of at least seven people.

0:34.6

Dozens of D.C. police and capital officers were injured. Some of them

0:59.9

happened at all, it is up to us to make sure that we never, ever forget the horrors that were

1:07.1

inflicted on this country and our democracy on that day,

1:11.0

all because Donald Trump could not accept the very real situation

1:17.4

that he lost the 2020 election to his opponent Joe Biden by almost 8 million votes.

1:26.2

That narcissistic wound was too deep for him to accept a reality. So he, again,

1:32.9

incited an insurrection against his own government. The problem, however, because despite the

1:42.8

fact that Republican Congress members were also victims that day, they decided

1:48.3

to side with the insurrectionists. So almost four years after January 6th, 2021, on Election Day,

1:58.1

2024, we learned when Donald was put back into the White House by almost 78 million people, that his insurrection had been successful.

2:14.6

That day, January 6th, is when Congress begins to certify the election.

2:23.6

They were officially counting and confirming states electoral votes, so Joe Biden could officially

2:28.6

claim the presidency.

2:30.2

This was standard operating procedure.

2:32.8

There was nothing controversial about any of this.
