All right, so we're bringing you new and updated information in the case of Markeen

Benson, who we reported on earlier this week.

In North Carolina, a man is accused of killing his mother and attacking a bail bondsman.

And over in Indiana, firefighters responded to a reported house fire early on New Year's Eve.

At the scene, the bodies of two individuals were discovered.

All right, so we're starting off with the story that we brought to earlier this week on Monday,

and that is the story of 29-year-old Markim Benson, the man accused of killing his girlfriend,

33-year-old Reneas Wolf, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

In our initial report, we stated that the victim's father called 911 after the suspect in the

case allegedly confessed to shooting the victim, the evening prior. But new information states that the suspect in the case allegedly confessed to shooting the victim the evening prior.

But new information states that the suspect's father had also called 911.

So at around 10 a.m. on Sunday, December 22nd, Markim's father called the police and stated that

his son had allegedly confessed to shooting his girlfriend.
