Hello, my friends.

Hello, my friends.

0:19.7

Spanking new episode of the Low Life podcast. I'm your flaming hot and spicy, seasonally depressed, white wine drinking, talky finger licking, Target overspending, ice coffee sipping, hot mess of a host, Lorenzo Bon Arumph.

And I'm so happy to be here with you today. There is no

0:39.8

place I'd rather be than right here with my low lifers. I hope you're having a beautiful day,

0:45.3

a great week so far, but if you are not feeling good right now, if you're feeling stressed,

0:49.5

overwhelmed, depressed, anxious, if you feel like life is just not working for you right now, I get it, I've been there, I feel you queen, but don't you worry, don't you fret. You have come to the right place. You are here for a reason, and we're about to turn that frown upside down, boo. We got a great show in store for you today. I will say when it comes to feeling like shit, I used to hate that feeling. I mean,

1:12.0

who enjoys feeling like shit? You know what I mean? But these feelings that I have throughout my life

1:18.0

that I would feel a bit of shame for, like feeling depressed or overwhelmed or anxious or really stressed

1:23.4

out or, you know, jealous or I'm comparing myself to others, that sort of thing. I realized that the best version of me was not built overnight. It definitely wasn't. This has been a process to get here. And life is an experience. This whole thing is an experience for us. This is pain, the insecurities that we feel. We all have to go through those things to get to the level that we're at now. And I wouldn't be the person that I am today if I didn't go through the heartache and the breakups and the insecurities and feeling the betrayal of friends and having toxic people around me that have really cut me down. And all of the shit that I've been through in life has really seasoned me in a different way and helped me. I feel like it's given me a bit of a competitive

2:00.9

edge in this game of life that we're in. From the friendship breakups that I've had to the

2:05.9

relationship breakups to loss, losing loved ones, you know, I don't wish that on anybody. But it's

2:11.6

going to happen and it sucks and it's painful and it's gut wrenching. But what comes from this,

2:16.7

all these little finite cracks that happen in your life that really throw you off your game, what I've come to learn is through those cracks come the light. And this beautiful light starts to come in and you get more and more of that light, the more experiences in life that you have. And sometimes they're not great experiences, but a lot more light comes in and it makes you more compassionate, more empathetic. That's what it's done for me. It's made me more understanding of the world around me, a little bit more patient. And so if you're going through it right now, I've been there. I get it. But don't worry, these little cracks in your life right now are allowing for the light to come in. And I promise you,

2:51.3

there is light at the end of the tunnel. Just take it day by day. Sometimes hour by hour, boo. Really, though. There's certain times when I'm like, shit. I just need to freaking wake up and shower and get through this morning. Like, that's a when to even shower this morning. And so I get it if you're going through it right now. What also has really helped me is being around people that I love.

3:11.0

Being around people. that's a wind to even shower this morning. So I get it if you're going through it right now.

3:07.9

What also has really helped me is being around people that I love, being around people that

3:11.8

support me, they are rooting for me. These are people that I would consider my ride or dies.

3:16.3

And two of those humans I just spent two beautiful weeks with, Jason Tardick and Caitlin

3:21.8

Bristow. So Caitlin Bristow, my little Canadian Maple Delight, I call her

3:25.8

Little Judy. She's on the podcast today. Actually was on her show, Off the Vine. Her episodes
