I'm Faith Moore, and this season we're reading Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte.

Each episode, I'll read one chapter from the book,

pausing from time to time to give brief explanations so it's easier to follow along.

It's like an audiobook with built-in notes.

So brew a pot of tea, find a cozy chair,

and settle in. This is episode 35. We're going to be reading Chapter 35 of Jane Eyre by Charlotte Ronte with a few notes along the way. That was kind of a plot

twist, right? Sinjin proposing to Jane.

I don't know how many people saw that coming. So that was kind of crazy. And I really do feel like

Jane's secretary or something. I wish she was a real person and I wish I could pass along

all of your messages because people are writing

into me with all kinds of reactions to this proposal and all of them have to do with how much

you love Jane and how much you want her to be happy and how much you want her to do the thing

that will bring her to happiness and not do something that will make her not happy.

And I wish that she knew how many people

love her and care about her since she has felt all this time that she is friendless and that

nobody loves her or cares about her. So I wish she was real. I wish I could pass on your letters

to her and I wish she could know that you all care so much. And I love that. I love how much

you care about Jane because like I said last time I care about her too. And I love that. I love how much you care about Jane because, like I said,

last time, I care about her too. And I love getting your letters about her. So keep them coming.
