Coming up on Sword and Scale Daily, a Las Vegas man confessed to the murder of missing 17-year-old

girl, Tamiya Trotter.

Tamiya was last seen on December 12th at McDonald's.

The search for missing American tourist, Alison McKenzie, continues and believes.

McKenzie was a part of a tour group which was camping overnight on a remote island.

She was reported missing by her boyfriend when he awoke the following morning to find

her gone.

Finally, a pre-trial date is set for Joseph DeAngelo, who is suspected of being in the so-called

Golden State Killer and newly released documents shed light on his time as an Auburn police officer.

KSNV Channel 3 News reports that 23-year-old, Jashon Bailey, was charged with open murder

on Tuesday night in connection with the death of 17-year-old Tamiya Trotter.

Trotter was reported missing on December 14th and was last seen on December 12th.

According to the arrest report, Bailey called 911 around 12.30pm on January 19th to report

a body.

On the 911 call, he said that about a month earlier, sometime between Christmas and New

Years, he saw two people messing with a manhole cover on his street.

Two weeks later, he went to investigate the manhole cover and discovered the body of

a young black female which he touched.
