I had a conversation with Jady Vance about five years ago.

The stage at Chicago ideas back when he seemed to be at least in public a normal person.

You know, there were healthy disagreements, but emphasis on the word healthy.

This is somebody who I felt like I could have a conversation with.

And I lament the fact that our politics has gone to the point where someone who I know at least could perform having some sense, now seems not only unable to do that, but unwilling to do that for the sake of politics.

It actually is politically unwise for him to appear that he can have a conversation with someone

from the other side of the political spectrum, so to speak. And that's a really sad and sick place

for this country to be.

And I'm at a little bit of a loss as to how to, you know, seek a path forward,

but that's what we do.

We figure it out together.

You know, it's funny because before you came on,

we were talking about something similar,

which is that I used to be friends with both Tucker Carlson and Pete Heggseth.
