Good morning and welcome to Morning Glory. It's three minutes past six. I'm Mike Graham and it is of course Tuesday the 5th of August and we are here this morning for a great many reasons. One to pay tribute to James Whale, the man, the legend who passed away yesterday. We announced it.

all the team here to uh to remember james and to bring uh as many of his laughs to you as we can of course

he died uh just yesterday uh after having a long battle with cancer we're going to be celebrating

his life this morning uh talking to an awful lot of people including chris tarrant uh who knew him incredibly well. Lots and lots of clips to play for you as well. Peter Blexie is also here with us. Peter, a very good morning to you. Good morning. We'll talk a bit about James, of course, throughout the show. We'll also talk about all the news that's going on this morning. To wit, all kinds of different stories on the front pages. The main story, I suppose, for us, in terms of what's actually happening and what's breaking, is that apparently this week, and possibly today, is the start of the one-in, one-out, as it's rather laughably called, the policy of Keir Starmer, where he's going to apparently allow one person to come into the country for every person that we kick out. But of course, we know it's not going to really work like that, but it's more like 17 in, one out. And we should watch the skies, watch the roads and watch the seas, and see whether anybody's actually coming in today. Because you can bet your bottom dollar, then it will be more like 1,000 in and none out for the first day.

For the second day it will be another thousand in and none out. And for the third day, and then it will suddenly be the end of the week and it will be none out and loads in, I would imagine. But maybe I'm being too pessimistic about this. Front page you say this. The Daily Mail has got Iran-ask Taliban for Spy Kill List. This of course, the list of people who supposedly worked with the British armed forces in Afghanistan all those years ago.

Leaders of Iran's Revolutionary Guard has said to have asked the Taliban if they can have access

to the bombshell list, which is at the center of that two-year super injunction in the United

Kingdom. Many of the people, of course, on that list are now living here.

So wouldn't that be great if we start having all sorts of mad Iranian assassins

wandering Britain looking for these Afghan characters and knocking them off?

I'm not quite sure that's the way we planned it.

Prime Minister and police are odds over migrant suspects.

This is one for you, Peter.

Secure Star was put pressure, supposedly, on police chiefs to release more information about offenders

at a time of growing unrest over the government's handling of the migration crisis.

Yesterday, we told you about all of the unrest over the weekend.

At all sorts of different locations in Britain, different migrant hotels where many people were out demonstrating.

Also, of course, the War people were out demonstrating, also of course

the Warwickshire police problem, which is that they instructed council leaders not to release

the identities and the ethnicities and the nationalities of two Afghan suspects who have

been charged with a rape of a 12-year-old girl. Absolutely staggering. Front page of the Daily Telegraph,
