But we're going to talk fantasy here. James Robinson, in the most recent draft I did,

he went at the very end of round three at the three-four turn. What did you notice about Robinson

last year when he was a top eight running back?

I think really what I noticed as a theme is that Robinson, things could not have gone better for him last year.

He really, like, I think of the top range of outcomes in a lot of different regards.

And the first one we'll talk about is his schedule.

He faced one of the easiest schedules in terms of rushing defense DVOA of any running back.

He only faced one top five rush defense all year in terms of DVOA and 11 of the 14 defenses he faced ranked in the bottom half of the league in terms of rush defense DVOA.

The average rank was 20th.

And even while facing a super easy schedule, he really wasn't that efficient.

He really got there on mostly volume alone, I mean, kind of similar to like Linder Fernette

right before he got there.

In terms of just like comparing him to other Jacksonville running backs and also the league average

nothing really stood out so yards per attempt league average was 4.5 Robinson was 4.46 other

jacksonville running backs were 4.41 rushing success rate league average was 41 percent his was 34 percent

which was obviously affected by playing in such a gross offensive situation,

but other Jacksonal running backs were at 33%.

So he barely even stood out compared to his teammates, and it's not like he had, you know,

ultra-efficient running back teammates.
