It's only a matter of time now to see exactly how disappointed I'm going to be.

No, no, the diner's still closed. They're still doing repairs. It gets worse.

There's the broken gas main a while ago, which they had to shut the place down. And now it seems there's

a structural integrity issue when it comes to the foundation. Apparently, 40, 50, 60, 70 years

a dump in the oil and grease out the back, tended to make the earth spongier than it ought to be.

And so there's been some settling issues.

Now, it doesn't mean that they can't, you know, jack it up in some point here, throw some sand and bricks under there.

I don't know, there's things that they can do, but there's talk even of moving it, of moving the diner.

I can't even imagine having a different view out of the window.

I just, I can't wrap my brain around it.

But until they reopen, I have been going to different places that are all 13 and a half miles from wherever I happen to be at the moment.

And today I'm at, well, the answer to where I'm at may surprise you, to which you say, no, not at all.

It's probably in the title of the podcast. I'm at Pizza Hut.

Mm-hmm.

And once again, I have to ask myself why they named it what they did.

When you think of pizza, you think of Italy, you think of New York, maybe you think of Chicago, you think of places, you think of some guy with a classic Italian mustache and

the little chef's hat, whatever, making the, you know, the finger gestures,

some Italian little cliche out of a Super Mario game.

But you don't think of a hunt.
