This time, and those conspiracy guys, we look at what might just be the most

visceral and surreal of the all-too-regular mass shooting events. Dubbed the Dark Knight massacre,

this Batman themed attack had all the hallmarks of a Hollywood thriller and a crazed comic book killer.

At the Century 16 movie theater in Aurora, Colorado, at a midnight screening of the Dark Knight Rises,

James Egan Holmes is said to have left the screening, applied body armor, a gas mask, and with an arsenal of weapons,

returned to the theater. In a mass shooting rampage of tear gas and machine gunfire, victims ran for

their lives as the movie violence became all too dangerously real. Colorado police arrived on scene

in just under two minutes, and the assailant was apprehended some five minutes later, waiting idly by his car,

but by this time, 12 people were dead. The youngest injured just three months old, and the youngest

killed only six years old. The scene of Carnage, Panic and Chaos, was soon to unfold.

But immediately conflicting reports of multiple shooters muddied the waters and challenged

a hastily release story of the classic Long-Gunman theory. Since the devastating attacks in 2012,

amateur investigators have scrutinized everything from the multiple gas masks found to the suspicious

blood trail and the video evidence from inside the cinema that would silence theorists.

Stories too emerged about Holmes as his trial unfolded and the media as I descended. His

apartment had been rigged with secret homemade explosives. His home and car carrying more of his

incredible wealth of weapons. Questions raged about his mental health and his ability to stand

trial. The PhD in neuroscience he chased and his endeavors in mind control only added fuels

to the fire of a conspiracy and suspected false flag event.

Why did nobody see the signs of a mass murderer?

What about the conflicting witness in first responders reports? What about the inconsistencies

in the investigation and the unexplained evidence?
