News hit early Monday morning that the Suns exercised Cameron Johnson's team option, but chose not to pick up Jalen Smith's. After drafting Smith #10 overall, it is surprising and disappointing to know he'll become an unrestricted free agent next year, but the Suns will be in the luxury tax soon, which would make Smith's contract actually cost a lot more. The guys break down the buzzer-beating loss against the Kings, and talk about the amazing 50-12 run the Suns went on against the Cavaliers to take control of the game. Deandre Ayton sustained a bruised leg in the game against the Cavaliers, while Cam Payne still remains out with a hamstring injury. Let's hope the team heals up before this next full week of games.
