Jake has been senior White House correspondent for ABC. He hosts a show for CNN. He's

moderated presidential debates, and he's done a ton of work to support veterans in our military.

But most relevant for this show, he's also the author of seven books, three novels in the

Martyr Mystery Series, and four works of nonfiction. The latest is called Race Against Terror,

chasing an al-Qaeda killer at the dawn of the Forever War, which is a terrific book,

well-researched, and

amazing pacing. Jake, welcome. Thank you, Doc. It's so great to be here. Great to have you here.

You mentioned that the drink today would be bourbon, which I have a little here, but I know

you also have a special cocktail that you sometimes fix up. So it's a complicated question because I, I'm a

drinker. I, you know, I try not to drink every day, but I'm a drinker. So there are, I have different

moods and, you know, it's fall now. So I do like a Knob Creek, maple flavored whiskey, just on the

rocks. That's a, that's a go-to on the rocks.

That's a go-to in the fall.

But any bourbon with me is good.
