Yes, and this is Daniel Horowitz back in the saddle here for a new week at Conservative Review on the Westwood One Podcast Network.

It is Monday, August 6th, and that sleepy, sleepy, uh, August recess for politics, for Congress.

But what did I warn you guys? What did I warn you guys over the last couple of weeks?

I said, you know, Congress is going to be out for quite some time.

The president's, I mean, he doesn't officially take off and it's not like he shuts down, but he'll be on vacation.

The American people, for the most part, will be on vacation.

But there's one branch of government and one profession that, you know, you got to give it to them.

They really don't rest or at least they have enough people working in it to always wreak havoc on this republic.

And I said, you know, while Congress is out and while we're all on vacation, you know, it is a very, very sleepy start to this week.

Really one of the slowest news cycles I've seen in months.

The courts would be taking over everything and winning just manath, political battles for the left without firing a shot.

You know, so it was, you can imagine this was late Friday afternoon.

I was about to go offline just for the weekend.

And you might have seen my burst of sudden burst of a Twitter storm, tweet storm, late Friday afternoon.
