Hello, it's Brooke Devard and you're listening to the naked beauty podcast. I am recording this at 8.30 PM. I have already had dinner. I am already in my pajamas and I am about to do my nighttime skin care routine, which I'm so excited about because I'm loving face

cleansing bomb. I don't know what it is about these facial cleansing bombs but it just like has me excited to do my nighttime

skin care routine. You guys, you know when you like have a nighttime routine that makes you

excited to do your skin care? Like that's where I'm at right now. And I'm not necessarily loyal to any one

cleansing bomb or oil for that matter, but here are a few that I'm like kind of

of trying out now. Naturopathica, they make a great Manuka honey cleansing bomb that I've really enjoyed.

I have the large size that I keep in my shower and then I also have a little mini when I travel that I

actually just got for Christmas and that's been great and then drunk elephant has one it's called

SLI SLAI SLA I SLA makeup melting butter I feel like when brands try to do these like

kutsi names that you can't pronounce it's just like make it easy for us like

did we need it to be called sleigh makeup melting butter but it's a good

product I think it really does a great job. I think the reason I love these bombs is because it's wintertime like the wind is harsh and you don't want to strip your face of all of its natural oils, but I do think it's obviously very important to cleanse your skin. your come home and just slather like a very rich kind of like velvety texture thick balm onto your face

to really just get that dirt and grime of the day gone. So I do that and I kind of just rub it in everywhere and then I take a warm washcloth. It's like hot to warm. It's actually hot. I take a hot washcloth and I just put it over my entire face and I just let it sit there

for like 30 seconds or so and then I just wipe everything off and it's like the most

satisfying feeling ever especially if you've been wearing makeup all day.

Now, the watchcloth part took me a while to figure out, but Amazon sells these great

micro-fiber towels for makeup.

I feel like the dark ones obviously are the best. I have one that says like

makeup on it. It's $17 for six. I'll link to it in the show notes, but I love that and I just follow it up

after I do the cleansing bomb I follow up with a real

cleanser I shouldn't say real cleanser but with like a traditional liquid cleanser after that and

right now I'm trying two new brands. So I'm not really loyal to anyone
