Wednesday at 6 p.m. Eastern live. Sorry for the slight delay in getting today's

show started. As I'm sure you guys have seen from the description. We're hoping to

have Jacobin contributor Natalie Sure come on to talk about her new article in the

print edition of Jacobin, which is called, I believe it's called the end of the

honeymoon with AOC, the end of the AOC honeymoon. It's a great article out in the

new issue. We were having some technical difficulties, so we're gonna continue

working on trying to get her with us. If not, we'll record the interview later and

air it for you guys. But we have another great guest today, which is Rama Vasudevan. She's

an economist and she'll be coming on a little bit later to talk to us about inflation.

I really wanted to have her on to kind of give the left perspective on not just inflation,

but the causes and consequences and how we should really be thinking about it and

whether there is anything that the federal government and the Federal Reserve

can do or should do that they may or may not do. So definitely stay tuned for

that. And for my own part, I wanted to make some brief comments just about the recent

San Francisco school board election or the recall election that happened last week.

I don't know if any of you guys were following that, but these three progressive or

call progressive school board members in San Francisco were recalled. It looks like a lot of

that energy or a lot of the voter turnout was sort of fueled by Asian Americans.

So I think I'm gonna dive straight into those comments while we wait to see if we can get

Natalie back with us and then maybe we'll jump over to that interview because I was really
