The Welcome to Jacobin Radio. I'm your host, Susie Wiseman. Today we bring you the keynote from the two-day event Progressive Central 2024, held in Chicago August 18th and 19th, just ahead of the Democratic National Convention

to advance progressive solutions to the crises undermining contemporary society

and politics all the things you wanted to hear more of at the Convention itself.

Progressive Central 2024 was hosted by Progressive Democrats of American Coordination

with the Nation magazine magazine the Arab American Institute

Operation Rainbow Push and it was held in Chicago at the Chicago Teachers Union

building. Alan Minsky executive Executive Director of PDA, and former producer of Jacobin Radio, was one of the key

organizers and today brings us the best part, the keynote opening with with Congresswoman Primilla Jep Hall on the

progressive movement within Congress, followed by the keynote speech with

Senator Bernie Sanders. We'll then hear Bernie Sanders in dialogue with the nation's John Nichols, and last we hear

from Representative Maxwell Frost.

All of this when our program returns in just a moment when per millegaiapal is one of the most influential leaders in the

United States of America and in the House of Representatives.

It is a blessing for the society and the world. It could be even all

the way down to the salvation of our relationship to this planet that gives us life

because on every issue that is true in relationship to this planet that gives us life.

Because on every issue that is true and dear to the hearts of progressives

and really all good people.

And yes, as Chank said, the majority of Americans,

for sure, Prima Jaiopold fights for it, and she not only fights for it, she does
