undercover in 1968 to confirm that the shipping tycoon Aristotle An andasis was having a secret affair with Jackie

Kennedy, the widowed former First Lady of the United States. It's a sweltering August evening in the Mediterranean.

Mored off his private island, Aristotle Anassasis is holding a party on his yacht, the Christina.

The yacht at dusk was beaming, was gleaming with lights.

It was obviously one of Onassis's best staged evenings of his life.

Nico Masterakis is a Greek journalist who gate crashed the party.

Everything was mahogany and wood and polished brass.

The servings of dinner that night were in very expensive China and gold-plated

utensils. And everywhere you turn there was immense detail.

Jackie were a long gypsies skirt and a scarlet silk shirt on assies in a black silk white shirt.

They ate a lamp and the dolmades stuffed vine leaves.
