Summary
Major studies have concluded that Americans use firearms in lawful defense of themselves and others between 500,000 and three million times every year. Yet as we have pointed out on this podcast -- these are not the stories that make their way to the national cable channels. Heritage has been documenting several dozen examples of Americans relying on their Second Amendment rights to protect life, liberty, and property. This week, Amy Swearer will highlight heroic and under reported cases of defensive gun uses in 2019.
P.S. This episode contains audio clips of gun violence that could be upsetting to some audiences. Listener discretion is advised.
