| 0:54.6 | Last night, Jews around the country lit the menorah for the final night of Hanukkah. |
| 0:58.5 | One night after a man broke into the New York home of an Orthodox rabbi |
| 1:02.5 | and stabbed five people who were there to celebrate the holiday, |
| 1:06.1 | at least one of whom is now in critical condition. |
| 1:08.6 | This attack follows the murder of three people at a kosher market in Jersey City just three |
| 1:12.6 | weeks ago, allegedly carried out by two individuals driven by anti-Semitic ideology and hatred. |
| 1:18.6 | And in between those two attacks, there's been an unnerving spate of anti-Semitic incidents |
| 1:23.6 | and assaults on the streets of New York City against Orthodox Jews. |
| 1:26.6 | It's called anti-Semitic activity for what it is. |
| 1:29.3 | And I think that is when you have, especially the Jewish people who have been over the history, |
| 1:34.3 | marginalized and put in positions in which they have endured the Holocaust. |
| 1:38.8 | They've endured many things over the time in which people are not focused on. |
| 1:43.0 | I think the biggest thing, though, is let's take a step back. |
| 1:46.0 | Why is this out there and why do we allow it to go on? |
| 1:48.0 | No people group, no matter who they are, should be terrorized by others who simply hate them. |
