widening investigation into Trump's plot to overturn the 2020 election. We're still

not done. Now pulling on multiple investigative threads into Trump.

An NBC News analysis finds Jack Smith's grand jury has interviewed dozens of witnesses,

quote, ranging from little known campaign aids to secret surface agents to the former vice

president of the United States. And Smith's questions are, quote, focus particularly on the

fake electors scheme. Smith has also said to be focused on that unhins December 18th

Oval Office meeting about seizing voting machines. The meeting was full of insults and conspiracy

theories and includes Sonny Powell, Michael Flynn, and the former CEO of Overse.com. I am

not making this up. Here's how the people in the room describe that December 18th meeting.

Just a little bit of screaming at me that I was a quitter and everything kept on standing

up and turning around and screaming at me.

Cindy Powell, what was fighting? Mike Flynn was fighting.

I didn't understand how they had gotten in. The first thing I did I walked in and I looked

at them and I said, who were you? People shouting at each other, burying insults at each

other. What they were proposing that thought was nuts. And just how nuts was it? This is

the draft executive order they were pushing Trump to sigh. Quote, effective immediately,

Secretary of Defense, shall seize, collect, retain and analyze all machines equipment,

electronically stored information, and material records. It was not written in Krayon and Comic

Sands, but it was pretty close. That order would have also appointed Cindy Powell, a special

counsel with sweeping powers. And according to reporting from CBS News Robert Costa, Smith

is probing whether there was criminal intent to build a premise for a delay or a block

...
