It was actually the Andre Carter episode that was episode number 100. Didn't realize it until just now as I'm posting

episode number 102 with Jack Marucci, which I'm really excited about. So thank you all for listening.

I talked to Jack Marucci. It's a meandering conversation, but a good conversation because the best conversation with Jack tend to meander. He's the kind of guy that you walk into his office. You sit down for a five-minute conversation. It turns into an hour. This one's about an hour. It's long. I think it's a good summer conversation, though. It's an annual tradition. We've had Jack on in years past, and he has a way of predicting the future, which you'll hear

in this episode. He has some good hopes for LSU football this year, which is exciting.

One thing that we do talk about later in the episode is Jack's new position with LSU. All the

cool stuff that Jack's done. If you've read the wide receiver story that I did in 2019, the summer of 10,000 catches,

where we talked about the eye tracking technology that LSU football has used to improve its wide

receivers. Or I've done some other stuff on what Jack's done, but we've talked about virtual

reality. We've talked about, especially in this episode, some of the things they're doing with

this team, the S2 testing, the cognitive processing testing that we talk about early in this episode.

Jack will be moving into a new position and let me pull it up my screen so I make sure I get it

right this time called Director of Performance Innovation.

No, I did not get that title right during the interview.

So I wanted to get it out up front, director of sport performance

innovation and special projects. We kind of joke around about how titles get long and lengthy and

a little bit complicated, but basically Jack is full time going to be diving in to all the

innovative work that he's done with LSU football. And he's going to apply that across the
