I mean the truth is when I started writing about watches in the late 90s it took years to

become a watch expert you can do it in six months now but if you're really serious you

can do it in six months if that. Hey, Hey everybody I'm your host Stephen Polverin and this is Hodinky Radio.

This week we've had a huge milestone in the history of Hodincky and that's that our editor-in-chief

Mr Jack Forrester posted his one thousandth story to Hodincki.com.

As somebody who's been with Hodincki for a long time, that is almost unfathomable to me,

Jack just celebrated his six-year anniversary with the company just a couple weeks ago,

and I thought it'd be fun to have him on to go through all of that vintage Jack Forster goodness.

So we're going to do a little bit of talking about how Jack got to Hodinke, his career, how he got interested

in watches, and then Jack's going to walk us through some of his favorite moments.

So that'll be anything from reporting trips in Geneva to interviews with his favorite watchmakers.

And then we're going to count down his five favorite Hodinke stories that he's written over the last six years.

It's an amazing insight into some of the behind the scene stuff as well as what I think

are some true benchmark Hodincked-Dincky stories.
