He spent 20 years in Naval Special Warfare, and he's the number one New York Times best-selling fiction thriller writer of the James Reese series, and he is the creative brain behind the terminalist TV show, and that stars Chris Prada. I think most of y'all have seen it at this point, but right now they've got a prequel series about Ben Edwards starring Taylor Kitch. It's out. It's called Dark Wolf. It's absolutely fantastic. But again, he's been on the show six times. Episodes 168, 309, 462, 610, 654, and this one. And today we're talking about his new thriller series that he's starting about James Reese's father, Tom, and book one is called Cry Havoc. It is out right now. You can check that out in the

show notes, but in this interview today, we did spend some time talking at the beginning about the

state of the country post the assassination of Charlie Kirk, what that means, what it means for the next

generation, what it means for the conservative movement, and overall just what it means for our body

politic that we see people openly

supporting and celebrating the murder of somebody that was exercising their free speech.

But then we get into, okay, he just wrapped filming the second season of the Terminalist series

starring Chris Pratt.

And so this is called True Believer and the setting and all the different things and

kind of what all that entails.

What the arc of the Dark Wolf prequel series starring Taylor Kitch has been Edwards, what that's going to end up looking like. How that's affecting his writing schedule. You know, is he going to be able to, you know, turn out a Tom Reese novel every year?
